Why a music man?
What was Slim's main aim of his stay?

Why a music man? It's something I can actually talk about: I was going to be a band director when I grew up, and I do still play. The setting is unfamiliar to me, so I needed something I could use as a stable reference point from which to interact--and, because there were IRL bandwidth issues going on (lots and lots of work), I needed some reason I could be a bit...distracted while still being in character and maybe adding something to the game. Maybe.
As far as the aim of the stay: He was brought up by Angel as extra ears. Didn't do a lot of good in that regard, admittedly (see the above comments), but once the gigging got going and the possibility of an album deal dropped, that became the focus.

Thanks

very nice. I think that makes good sense. Slim was the most into their music of the music crowd, as far as Valentina and I could see. He absolutely came across as absorbed in his art. I hope he was fun for you to play!

That's what everyone wanted me to do when I was coming up XD
God bless those that do it but that was never gonna be my gig. Music to me is far more enjoyable as a hobby
Okay, so! Slim's a cool cat. It goes without saying that he's more than welcome to join Sal's little band of adventurers. But if he does Slim would likely became the headliner having the higher Rockerboy level. Which Sal won't mind in the slightest believe it or not.
As far as the Q&A portion - I've got a few questions:
Did space inspire or depress Slim?
If the next game happens in a year or less, will Sal and Slim be performing together? If the next game happens a ways into the future, will Slim still be gigging?
Any regrets?

BEHOLD THE FORM QUESTIONS!
1. Biggest curveball the game threw you?
2. Biggest curveball Slim threw you?
3. Any character who didn't drop you wish you'd interacted with more?
4. Biggest missed opportunity?
5. Any background details that never came up that you wouldn't mind sharing?
6. How satisfied is Slim with his time at the Crystal Palace?

So, like, space is, like, big, man, and the whole world is watching--while we're, like, watching the world go by. Surprising it goes so fast.
And as far as gigging goes, yeah, man, Slim'll still be doing it as long as he has fingers and wind.

At least they're not corn...
1. Really, nothing, but that's as much a result of my not being as engaged as I'd like to be. IRL demands, man...
2. Same answer, as it happens, and for the same reason.
3. Pretty much everybody but Sal. And it's nothing against Sal; I like him plenty.
4. Biggest, I don't know. Again, I wasn't as active as I like to be, so...next time.
5. Slim grew up corpo. It's how he got the lessons that have informed his musical taste and skill. Gotta have time to practice, man, and you ain't got that with a regular job.
6. Largely, really. Cultivated a fan base, landed a record deal, probably has a label contract, and made money. What's not to like?
